How do I make a claim?

If I have an expensive item, how do I know it is properly insured?
Most types of insurance policies will have a limit on specific items, especially items such as jewellery, computers and cameras. Talk to us and we will discuss if you require additional cover for high-ticket items.
If I make alterations to my house, will it be covered?
If you are renovating or making alterations to your home, minor cosmetic alterations do not need extra cover. However, more extensive alterations may require additional cover.

Can I buy travel insurance while on holiday?
No. You can only buy insurance before you depart from New Zealand.
